3D Murphy Beds

   Perfect for the do-it-yourselfer, our Murphy bed frame is easy to install and operate. The frame includes detailed assembly instructions (with pictures). 

    Our powder-coated All Steel frame is the only Murphy Bed Frame with different tension variable rate springs. This allows our frames to be counter-balanced to meet the needs of many different brands and styles of mattresses. 

    The Frames can support any regular size mattress up to 11 inches thick in a 16 inch deep cabinet.( Thicker mattresses require a 20 in deep cabinet) We recommend inner spring, or foam encased mattress with an average weight up to 90 lbs.

    Items you will need to build your cabinet are 3 sheets of  3/4 inch ply board, such as Birch Maple or Oak, 1-1/4 inch pocket screws(52), and I recommend The Kreg Jig® Jr. pocket hole tool. This can be purchased online or at you local Hardware store

Do it yourself kits include the metal bed frame and instructions for assembling your  metal frame.(Cabinet Not included) 

Upon ordering you will receive by email a cut sheet which will show you all the nessesary cuts to build your cabinet. You will also receive a web address to our online video that will show you step by step how to build a murphy bed cabinet with either Bi folding doors or French doors.
